CRUISE RATES and BEST TIME OF YEAR

Price Ranges: The price ranges for cruises varies dramatically depending on your vacation specifics. The longer the cruise, the more expensive your tickets will be. You'll also need to decide between a room. Rooms with balcony's will end up costing more than rooms with just a window or no view at all. Keep these wonderful options in mind when planning out your vacation and budget.

Best Time of Year: Cruises usually run all year long. From our research though, the best months to go to most destinations is anywhere from March - May. The summer months are a little hotter and that's also when Hurricane Season starts up (June - November). If you're traveling to an island location, this is definitely an important factor. Again, the best time of year will truly depend on where you're sailing to. Check with your travel agent or cruise line to see when they recommend traveling.

For instance, when the cruise one is interested in takes place during the peak season in the Caribbean, it is smart to book early. In March, colleges have spring break, so it is not unusual for cruise ships to be crowded time in vacation spots that are warm. In addition, hotels and airlines book early as well. If you are selective and you keep an eye out for a better deal depending on the time of year, you can find a better travel vacation package. Consider going when school is in session as opposed to the middle of summer or the slower weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
